En 1801 fueron invadidas por los portugueses, y en 1828 Rivera se apodero de ellas, accion que junto con la batalla de Ituzaingo llevaria al Emperador del Brasil a firmar la paz con las Provincias Unidas. / In 1801 they were invaded by the Portuguese, and in 1828 Rivera took possession of them, action which along with the Battle of Ituzaingo lead to Emperor of Brazil to make peace with the United Provinces. | |
