Visit Mike in Columbia June 2016
I visited Mike and Liane for the week-end. Mike and I golfed. We went shopping for their new house, and we went out for dinner every night.
We golfed at the Oak Hills Golf Club. The weather was nice but warm. The golf courses wasn’t that crowded. The golf course was nice and green. The greens had been aerated not that long ago, but plenty good for putting. The course had damage from the storms from last October.
For Friday, we had dinner at our favorite Carolina Ale House then dessert at Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe. The next night, after golfing, we went to the Thirsty Fellow for dinner (it was a fun place) and then to Sweet Cream Co for dessert. For our busy Sunday, we squeezed in a late lunch at Southern Belly BBQ.
We got a lawnmower at Loews, a vacuum cleaner at Target and wonderful collection of new furniture from IKEA. All great stuff for their new house.
