Fox River Trail – Bike from Geneva to North Aurora

Back for the third time in September, we biked the Fox River Bike trail.

We parked at the Fabyan Windmill park in Geneva, on the East side of the river. We headed South on the trail, walking our bikes down the stairs at the Batavia Dam / Peace bridge crossing area, continued South all the way to the North Aurora Dam.

We crossed the river at the State street bridge and then headed our way back along the West side of the river. The trail briefly took us through Batavia where we stopped to take some pictures at the River Walk, then we heeded all the way back up to the Fabyan Windmill park, cross the river at the pedestrian bridge.

The trees were just starting to turn. There’s a few spots where we saw some red and yellow leaves among the green. In another week, we expect to see autumn colors kick in.
